Randy spends most of the week in Charleston, visiting such places in the surrounding area as Hilton Head Island, SC, and Huntington Beach State Park, SC. He is on the move again by the end of the week, staying in Atlantic Beach, NC and planning his trip through the North Carolina Outer Banks - IF the ferry service is running.
We also welcome a very special guest to the podcast: Stephanie Loeb, Acting Chief Spokesperson and Chief of Public Affairs for the US National Park Service. Stephanie explains to us how the US National Park nomenclature works, what it takes to make a change to a National Park, and updates us on park attendance and volunteer efforts.
