Episode 64 of the Travels With Randy Podcast is here!
Bubba And The Boomer....we kinda like that! Hrmmmmm...
Anyway, we're back again to catch everyone up on the past two
weeks of living our dreams - well, actually, mostly Bubba's phantom
mouth pain (which has a happy ending). COVID appears to be getting
its' butt kicked now: vaccinations are going well, cases are
dropping, deaths are dropping, and the end appears to be in
sight.
We spend a lot of time discussing the film Nomadland, now showing on Hulu. Both Bubba and Randy strongly identify with the main character of this film because of our backgrounds and general approach to living our lives. Randy is the Nomad and the whole reason we started the podcast, and Bubba has had many Nomadic experiences including selling pictures on street corners with Scientologists. The film hit us hard in several different ways and we discuss it at length.
Then we move on to I Care A Lot on Netflix, which is a completely different movie for sure. It's never been more fun to hate every single character in a movie and cheer for.....none of them!
